EMILY RICHTER, SOPRANO

 

 BIO

Soprano

Emily Richter is a lyric soprano based out of the United States. She is currently an Apprentice Artist at Santa Fe Opera covering the role of Micaela in Carmen.  A versatile performer, Emily thrives on singing diverse repertoire in opera, chamber and choral worlds. Originally from Arlington, Virginia and growing up all over the world from Zimbabwe to London, Emily brings a unique perspective to her singing.

WIRTH PRIZE

May 14, 2021

Emily Richter was a recent winner of the 2021 Wirth Prize, awarded for her 25 min program of song and operatic repertoire. 

"The Wirth Vocal Prize was established in 2015 by Elizabeth Wirth to assist an exceptional singer building towards an international career. This year’s recipient will receive a generous scholarship."
